Every year my daughter's school holds a father daughter dance.  They pull out all the stops with a professional DJ and photographer.  The girls get so excited and count down the days until the big date night with daddy.  Of course, they pick out their dresses, shoes and accessories weeks in advance.  Some get professional manicures, pedicures and hair styles.  My daughter just gets the professional "mommy treatment" and is very happy with that. 

With all this primping you have to finish the ensemble with flowers! It wouldn't be a true "date" without daddy giving her flowers, would it?  So, every year I called the local florists to purchase her wrist corsage in the colors of her dress.   And every year I would pay $26 for it.  And every year it fell apart before she made it home after the dance.  She was always so disappointed when she got home and realized that half of her flowers were still on the school's gym floor!

So this year I started thinking, I already have all these silk flowers for my wreaths, I bet I can make her a corsage.  So I did.  She was so happy and loved the corsage and it matched perfectly with her dress!  I showed it to some of my friends and neighbors and they too wanted one for their daughters. After the dance, she came home with the whole wrist corsage still intact.  I can use it again next year.  One of the kindergarten moms said she will be keeping her corsage in a special box where she stores all her daughter's other keepsakes.  I was so touched and honored to think I made something that will last as a keepsake to be shown off as her first corsage but more importantly her first flowers from daddy. I am so blessed to have such great customers!

And that is why I am now selling these sweet wrist corsages!  They are smaller for elementary to middle school aged girls and fit around the wrist.  Perfect for not only father daughter dances, but any date with daddy or for the birthday/party girl!
