Shipping Policy
Can you ship outside of the United States?
At this time, Southern Charm Wreaths only ships inside the continental United States and Canada.
How much do you charge for shipping my wreath?
Once you place your order and enter your shipping address, you will be given the opportunity to choose from two shipping options (UPS Ground & FedEx Home Delivery). I've chosen UPS and FedEx because they are the cheapest carriers. Unfortunately, due to the box sizes (my largest is 30x30x12inches) used to ship your wreath; I am charged a dimensional weight; sometimes as much as 60 pounds. This is based on the size of the box needed to ship your wreath. The price calculated on my website is linked with my business accounts at UPS and FedEx. Therefore, these companies actually calculate the cost of shipping. Generally, the further away shipping is from me the more shipping may costs.
Do you deliver and how much?
Yes, I will deliver to the following zip codes for a $5.00 charge: 29036, 29063, 29210 and 29212. If you wish for delivery in the Columbia and Lexington, South Carolina areas, I can make arrangements to meet you half way for a $5.00 charge. All other zip codes will be charged a shipping charge based on UPS or FedEx shipping calculations. All South Carolina sales are charged a 6% sales tax. You may opt to pick up your order (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY) for no shipping cost but will be subject to an additional 1% sales tax for Richland County. There is a place to specify delivery zip code during the check-out process in my shopping cart.
How do you ship my wreath?
In order to protect your wreath during shipment, I use a sturdy corrugated box that has a deep enclosure. I wire your wreath to the bottom of the shipping box. This ensures your wreath will not move around during shipment. I use the smallest box possible without compromising the shape of your wreath in order to get the smallest shipping rate. Therefore, you may need to fluff your wreath when you remove it from your box.
How long will it take to receive my wreath?
All wreaths are shipped Monday - Friday before 4PM. For wreaths in stock and once your payment has cleared, it could take me 2 business days to get your wreath shipped, depending on my work load. Then, of course, there is the shipping time allotment that will vary by order.
Custom Orders?
Custom orders will take longer according to how many orders are in front of yours and if I have all the supplies in stock. You will be informed of this when placing your order. Generally, it can take up to 3-4 weeks before shipping any custom orders. |
