My Charming Story
Hey ya'll, My name is Julie Siomacco, professional floral designer. I'm a stay-at-home mom living in the Columbia, SC area. My first passion is for my three great kids and my loving and very supportive husband, Mike.
I've always had a knack for floral designing even when I was young. I could go into retail stores and see floral arrangements and then go back home and duplicate them. My parents were amazed and would always say, "You have an eye for color". I started designing wreaths for my door as a hobby about several year ago. Since then I've received a lot of positive comments from neighbors and friends. Soon they wanted a wreath. I've designed wreaths for family members and they too say I have a God given talent. With the downturn of the economy, I've decided to turn my fun hobby into a small business. I have my business license and glue gun in hand!
I grew up with a father who owned art galleries throughout the Charlotte area. He taught me how to work hard but most importantly to produce quality work. You see when you provide a quality product; your customers will always come back to you and repeat customers are always the best customers. He also instilled in me how important passion and conviction for any job should always be the basis for its growth. After working for him year after year, my taste for beautiful art and quality interior design grew into a passion. Thanks dad!
So as I learn to juggle new business with family life, I ask that you please be patient as I learn the business aspect of this endeavor and to pray for me. As a southern girl, I know a little prayer can't hurt anyone. Also check out my blog for updates, I plan to include articles about floral trends and how to design your own wreath.
